Super fun day today. Ran the beach, went to class, went to Manzanillo beach and slept on my towel, then went Salsa dancing with Chelsea. Made dinner and I’m exhausted. Surfing for two weeks straight everyday, has really taken out of me. (I’m not complaining) Why didn’t I do this earlier?! Life is good.

Just finished an audio book, The Last Lecture, it was awesome. It was about a professor that had terminal cancer and gave a last lecture to his students, but it was more directed to his children and the life advice he wanted to give to them before he departed. It could have been morbid, but it wasn’t, instead it was extremely inspiring. The lecture was about going out and achieving your childhood dreams. In one way or another he achieved his and his insights into life were extremely well thought out and his examples illustrated his points brilliantly! His life, although nerdy, was one to envy. I loved the part about his Dad signing him up for football and the coach being something of drill sergeant. He learned that first practice that you can learn the basics of football without a ball. You gotta start with the basics.

His Last Lecture is apparently on Youtube and went viral once he uploaded it.
